Developers booked for using forged PMRDA approvals to sell properties

Ambegaon police registered a case against multiple developers for using forged PMRDA planning permissions, commencement certificates and occupancy certificates to execute sale deeds.

Developers named include Sai Swaraj Developers, Shivai Associates, Venkatesh Developers, Construction and Developers, and Rajlaxmi Developers and builders.

The forged documents were attached to sale deeds submitted between January 14 and February 20, 2026, enabling property registration.

The FIR was filed by Ravindra Namdev Koli, a government official attached to the Sub-Registrar Class II, Ambegaon.

The case was registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for cheating, forgery, use of forged documents, and criminal conspiracy.
