Centre committed to making villages self-reliant: Union MoS Kamlesh Paswan

Union MoS Kamlesh Paswan urged village heads to prepare five-year development plans and create durable assets for future generations.

The Panch Sammelan in Varanasi aimed to raise awareness about the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025 (VB-G RAM G).

Paswan said VB-G RAM G will improve transparency and monitoring of rural development schemes, revising provisions from MGNREGA.

Around 500 village heads from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Jharkhand attended the event jointly inaugurated by Paswan and UP deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya.
