Punjabi singer Dilpreet Dhillon booked for assault in Mohali

Punjabi singer Dilpreet Dhillon was booked for allegedly assaulting Amant Marwaha, owner of Melody House music company, in Mohali.

The assault occurred on Wednesday night at Homeland Heights, Sector 70, Mohali, during a dispute over a failed music deal with T-Series.

Amant Marwaha alleged that Dhillon beat him, confined him in a room, and threatened him with a pistol.

A case was registered under Sections 115(2), 126(2), 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act.

No arrest has been made; police have asked the accused to join the investigation.
