Man arrested outside Bengaluru airport with hydro ganja

Rakesh Satyabhushan Agarwal, 40, was arrested outside Terminal-2 parking at Kempegowda International Airport with 3kg of hydro ganja worth over Rs 60 lakh.

He arrived from Thailand and cleared customs checks despite the drug being in his baggage.

A case was registered under the NDPS Act after police found the drug in his bag.

Agarwal claimed he was paid over Rs 30,000 plus travel expenses to deliver the parcel in Bengaluru.

Police suspect the drug network uses VPNs to evade tracing and each mule only two or three times.
