Gujarat Ayurveda University orders probe into alleged BAMS exam paper leak

Gujarat Ayurveda University in Jamnagar ordered an inquiry into alleged leak of BAMS third-year Shalya Tantra-I exam question paper held on July 20, 2026.

Students alleged that 11 of 12 exam questions matched questions circulated on WhatsApp groups before the exam.

HP Jhala, director in-charge of examinations, received the complaint on the evening of July 20 and said an inquiry committee will be formed.

The university is continuing the examination schedule; no irregularities reported in subsequent exams.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh alleged Gujarat has seen 34 paper leaks between 2014 and 2024.
