The Moradabad divisional commissioner's court continued the stay on demolition of 38 buildings at Mohammad Ali Jauhar University in Rampur, next hearing on August 10.
The court's interim order keeps the demolition directive issued by RDA vice-chairman Ajay Kumar Dwivedi inoperative until the appeal is decided.
The court directed the Regional Development Authority (RDA) to produce complete case records before the appellate authority.
The RDA had ordered demolition on July 15, alleging the Mohammad Ali Jauhar Trust constructed 38 structures without approved building plans in Revenue Village Singankhera.
The stay protects the university buildings from demolition pending the appeal, following the trust's challenge to the RDA order.
