Kritika Sakoriya, an Indian woman living in Sweden, shared a 'realistic monthly budget' for a single person on Instagram.

Her breakdown estimates monthly rent between 8,000-15,000 SEK (₹80,000-₹1.5 lakh), groceries 3,000-5,000 SEK (₹30,000-₹50,000), and public transport about 1,000 SEK (₹10,000).

She estimates total monthly expenses for a single person can range from 18,000 to 25,000 SEK (₹1.8 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh), depending on city and lifestyle.

Sakoriya notes that while Sweden is expensive, it offers work-life balance, clean surroundings, and excellent public services.
