Bandra-Worli Sea Link was illuminated with a light show displaying the 'Drug-Free Mumbai' campaign on International Day Against Drug Abuse, July 30, 2026.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched the initiative, aiming to raise awareness among children and youth and curb drug abuse statewide.

The campaign includes school and college programmes, counselling sessions, special committees, helplines, and war rooms to build a people's movement against narcotics.

Fadnavis took a pledge with children, women, teachers, and dignitaries to make Mumbai a drug-free city.
