How Pakistan is footing India's arbitration bill over the Indus Waters Treaty

Pakistan is paying both its own and India's share of arbitration costs in the Indus Waters Treaty dispute after India boycotted proceedings.

Pakistan has spent over $600,000 to keep the arbitration process alive at the Permanent Court of Arbitration.

The arbitration was initiated by Pakistan against India under the Indus Waters Treaty.
