Trump, Netanyahu discuss 3 Iran strategies

President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in the Oval Office on July 28, 2026, for nearly ninety minutes.

The summit focused on three strategic options to address Iran's nuclear programme: diplomacy, economic containment, and renewed military action.

The meeting was the first face-to-face since joint US-Israeli military operations against Iran began in late February.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described the meeting as positive and productive.

The goal was to break the strategic stalemate with Tehran and determine the next phase of the conflict in West Asia.
