Ludhiana: Minor abducted, tortured, filmed over family dispute; 8 booked

A 17-year-old boy was allegedly abducted, beaten, and humiliated by the family of his brother's ex-fiancée in Ludhiana.

The Division number 3 police filed an FIR against eight identified accused, including four women, and two unidentified accomplices.

The boy was reportedly forced to lick spit and drink urine, and the assault was filmed on phones.

The dispute stems from a broken engagement and a prior rape case against the boy's elder brother.

ASI Satnam Singh said the accused are absconding and raids are ongoing to arrest them.
