Missing therapist Elizabeth Waddell case details emerge

Elizabeth "Liz" Waddell, a North Carolina physical therapist, went missing on July 22, 2026, while swimming near Grand Anse Beach in St. George's, Grenada.

Her husband, Cailen Waddell, an Operations Manager in Cary, North Carolina, is cooperating with investigators and believes there was no foul play.

Cailen traveled to Grenada on July 24 to assist in the search and created a website for verified updates.

Grenada Police Commissioner Randy Connaught stated Cailen has been very cooperative with local authorities, the FBI, and the U.S. Embassy.

The case remains an active missing person investigation; extensive searches by family, authorities, and Grenadian citizens have not yielded results.
