12-year-old, whose father was detained in the NEET protests: ‘Incident taught me never to give up’

Anhad, a 12-year-old Class 7 student, was recorded crying after police detained his father Sandesh during a NEET protest near Shivaji Park.

Anhad said the incident left him scared for 24 hours but taught him a lesson not to give up.

The event ‘Voices of Resistance’ was organised by Hum Bharat Ke Log to give young protesters a platform.

At the event, Tushar Gandhi launched the Lawyer for Student mobile application to help detained students.
