Actress Aishwarya alleges online harassment, suspects family friend

Kannada actor Aishwarya Sindhogi filed a police complaint in Bengaluru alleging sustained online harassment by a female family friend.

She suspects the individual created fake social media accounts to post defamatory comments and send abusive messages since February.

Aishwarya stated this is not the first incident; she had filed a complaint in 2020 after her mother's death for similar harassment.

The harassment has affected her reputation with brands and fans, prompting her to seek strict legal action.

Sanjaynagar police registered a case under Section 66C of the Information Technology Act (identity theft) and are investigating.
