'Resident Evil' actor Austin Abrams nearly died on set, says director

Director Zach Cregger revealed actor Austin Abrams narrowly escaped a fatal accident on the set of the upcoming 'Resident Evil' horror film.

Abrams came within inches of being struck by a 150-pound body-sized blood bag dropped from a crane.

The near-hit occurred during a practical stunt sequence for the film.
