Two Ohio YouTubers behind Creek Kings Outdoors sentenced to jail after pleading guilty to 40 deer poaching charges, fined more than $37,000 and banned from hunting for five years

William Bethel, 28, and Justin Booth, 23, creators of the Creek Kings Outdoors YouTube channel, pleaded guilty to 40 combined deer poaching charges in Ohio.

They were sentenced to nine days in jail, fined more than $37,000, and banned from hunting, fishing, and trapping for five years.

The pair illegally hunted deer from 2019 to 2024 at Three Creeks Metro Park and other properties without permission.

Evidence included videos from their own YouTube channel showing illegally harvested deer and false claims that some were legally taken in Kentucky.

Charges included hunting without permits, criminal trespass, possessing illegally taken deer, and failing to properly game-check animals.
