Kumbh Mela 2027: NTKMA, GSI finalise disaster preparedness plan

The NTKMA and GSI have finalised a disaster preparedness roadmap for the Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027.

The plan includes a three-month seismic study with five stations in Trimbakeshwar.

Fresh inspections of landslide-prone areas in Nashik will be conducted.

The roadmap focuses on landslide mitigation and seismic assessment to enhance pilgrim safety.
