Over 7 lakh LPG consumers in Lucknow face August 15 deadline for e-KYC

Over 7 lakh domestic LPG consumers in Lucknow have not completed mandatory e-KYC by the August 15 deadline set by Indian Oil.

Consumers who miss the deadline may have to pay commercial LPG prices: a 14.2-kg domestic cylinder costs ₹957 (₹67.29/kg) versus a 19-kg commercial cylinder at ₹2,950 (₹155.26/kg).

Lucknow has 15 lakh domestic LPG consumers, but only 7,81,950 have completed e-KYC so far.

Indian Oil has directed all LPG distributorships to achieve 100% e-KYC compliance by August 15, and gas agencies are organizing special camps.

Consumers can complete e-KYC via mobile apps: Indane One for Indane, Hello BPCL for Bharatgas, and HP Pay for HP Gas.
