Two factory workers from UP die in separate incidents in Himachal

Two migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh died in separate incidents at factories in Kala-Amb industrial area, Himachal's Sirmaur district.

Bablu from Bareilly died on July 25 after a snake bite at Wood Stock Laminates Limited; fellow workers protested demanding compensation.

Vishwajeet died on July 26 after falling from a crane at an iron casting unit in Kala-Amb.

Factory management provided ₹80,000 cash assistance and transport for Bablu's body; ESIC and management compensation to follow within two weeks.

Himachal state government will provide ₹4 lakh financial assistance to Bablu's family under disaster management provisions.
