India tour of Bangladesh gets closer to approval; Afghanistan T20Is could be pushed back

India's white-ball tour of Bangladesh, a six-match series, is nearing approval from the BCCI.

The proposed three T20Is against Afghanistan may be pushed back from September 13 to September 17 to accommodate the Bangladesh tour.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is optimistic about hosting India after a four-year gap.

The BCB put its television and digital media rights up for sale earlier this month.

India resumed tourist visas for Bangladeshi citizens in July 2026, improving bilateral relations.
