Bhojshala row: SC to hear Muslim side's plea over alternate namaz site, seeks response of MP

The Supreme Court agreed to hear the Muslim side's plea that the alternate site for namaz is 2 km from the Bhojshala complex in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

The court seeks Madhya Pradesh government's response on providing an adjacent alternate prayer site.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the alternate site is 900 meters away and will personally examine the issue.

The court directed the solicitor general to obtain instructions on providing an adjacent site for namaz.
