US Strike Hits Chabahar Port Tower Used By IRGC To Target Ships In Strait Of Hormuz, Confirms CENTCOM

U.S. CENTCOM destroyed the surveillance tower at Iran's Shahid Kalantari Port in Chabahar, used by the IRGC to track commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
The strike was intended to degrade the IRGC's ability to coordinate attacks on commercial shipping and support freedom of navigation.
Iranian state media IRNA confirmed the tower's destruction but said port berths and cargo equipment were not damaged.
Iran's Health Ministry reported at least 38 killed and over 400 injured in wider U.S. strikes across multiple provinces, including women and a minor.
Attacks also damaged six bridges in Khamir County, disrupting transport routes connecting Bandar Abbas and Bandar Khamir.
