Praying for poll success isn’t seeking votes in religion’s name: HC

Bombay High Court ruled that praying for election success is not soliciting votes in religion's name.

Justice N J Jamadar stated that dua is a form of communication with God.

The court held such prayers do not constitute undue influence under the Representation of the People Act.
