DU allows 2 colleges to admit UG students through merit-based physical mode

Delhi University granted special permission to Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College to admit undergraduate students through merit-based physical mode.
The move allows admissions based on Class 12 marks for vacant seats, departing from the CUET-based CSAS system.
Bhagini Nivedita College invited applications by August 5 for BCom, BA, BSc and other courses, with document verification and fee payment on August 6 and 7.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya cited around 40% vacant seats in recent years, saying many rural girls don't register for CUET due to distance concerns.
The colleges said CUET remains the primary admission mode, with merit-based process only to fill vacant seats.
