Gurugram: Delivery man, 26, killed by dumper on NH-48; sparking 3-hour protest

Delivery executive Anil Kumar, 26, was killed by a speeding dumper truck on NH-48 near Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram on July 16, 2026.

The accident occurred around 8 am when Kumar's motorcycle was hit by the dumper truck; he was run over and died on the spot.

The driver fled the scene without helping the victim.

Fellow delivery executives protested for three hours by blocking the highway, causing a massive traffic jam.

Police persuaded protesters to disperse, sent the body for postmortem, and said the driver will be arrested soon.
