Kasol raves: Supreme Court orders transfer of Kullu DC, SP

Supreme Court ordered immediate transfer of Kullu Deputy Commissioner Anurag C Sharma and SP Madan Lal for failing to prevent rave parties in Kasol from June 7-11.

The Supreme Court upheld a Himachal High Court order that also directed the transfer of SDM Nishant Kumar.

For an impartial departmental inquiry, the officers must be relocated from Kullu.

The Supreme Court stayed further action on FIRs and the SIT probe related to the rave parties.
