Four elevated Pink Line stations to have two-wheeler parking in Bengaluru Metro

  1. Four stations on BMRCL's Pink Line elevated stretch (Tavarekere, IIM-B, Hulimavu, Kalena Agrahara) will have two-wheeler parking facilities.

  2. Together, the four stations can accommodate 575 two-wheelers, with three stations handling 155 each and Kalena Agrahara 110.

  3. Parking fees are set at Rs 15 for the first four hours and Rs 5 per additional hour, with a daily cap of Rs 30; cyclists park free.

  4. BMRCL will charge licensees Rs 10 lakh per station per year; operators must have a positive net worth above Rs 12 lakh.

  5. The 7.5km elevated stretch between Kalena Agrahara and Tavarekere is expected to open next month; the underground stretch to Nagawara may take until year-end.
