Coca-Cola hikes Diet Coke prices in India by 10% due to Strait

Coca-Cola has hiked prices of Diet Coke in India by over 10% due to the West Asia conflict.

Diet Coke's popular 300-ml can is now joined by a 330-ml can priced at ₹50, a 13.6% per-ml increase.

The price hike stems from supply chain disruptions via the Strait of Hormuz, caused by the US and Israel's war with Iran.

Aluminum can shortage previously led to Diet Coke parties and limited glass bottle alternatives.

Coca-Cola is now sourcing larger cans from Southeast Asia at higher cost.
