Railway attendant fined ₹5,000 for stolen linens

Railway attendant Amit Yadav earning ₹14,000 had to pay ₹5,000 fine after passengers stole towels and bedsheets from AC coaches.

Yadav's job is to distribute and collect linens in AC coaches; he pays out of pocket for stolen items.

Despite changing delivery routines and being vigilant, passengers continued stealing linens.

A passenger in a Delhi-bound train asked for a towel, was told about theft issues, then allegedly stole it.

YouTuber Naveen Singh shared the video on Instagram with plea to stop stealing from trains.
