Bihar warden's suicide ruled murder after probe

Rinku Devi, warden of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Avasiya Vidyalaya in Begusarai, was murdered, not a suicide.

The Patna High Court ordered an IG-headed probe after the victim's daughter Tejaswini Kumari sought re-investigation.

The SIT, led by IG Vikas Vaibhav, found asphyxia by strangulation and the body was hanged to simulate suicide.

Two accused are Kaushal Kumar (co-villager) and Ajit Kumar Bablu (school guard), arrested for the murder.

The motive was non-payment of ₹15 lakh given by Devi to Kumar for a land purchase, leading to her murder.
