Trump proposes US host World Cup without Canada, Mexico

US President Donald Trump wants the US to host the FIFA World Cup again without Canada and Mexico.

Trump made the remarks at a FIFA World Cup reception in New York's Trump Tower ahead of the final between Spain and Argentina.

He urged FIFA to return the tournament to the United States, saying 'You should choose the United States of America again.'

Trump stated: 'This time we will leave Canada and Mexico out.'
