Assam Governor inaugurates 47th State Athletics Championship 2026

Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya inaugurated the 47th State Level Athletics Championship 2026 in Nalbari.

Nearly 1,200 athletes are participating in the championship.

Acharya urged youth to embrace sports for character, discipline, and national pride.

The event is linked to the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
