IndiGo places over 1,000 engines’ order for A320s
IndiGo placed a record order for over 1,000 LEAP-1A engines from CFM International for its 510 Airbus A320neo family aircraft.
CFM International will establish an engine maintenance repair overhaul (MRO) facility in India as part of the deal.
Honeywell Aerospace will provide avionics and power systems for IndiGo's order of 810 new Airbus A320neo aircraft.
IndiGo plans to double its fleet by 2030 and currently has an order book of almost 1,000 aircraft.
