Four new crime branch units formed after rapid growth in new areas of Ggm, F’bad

Four new crime branch units were established in Gurugram and Faridabad to control criminal activities in newly developed sectors.

Gurugram got three units at Sector 65, Bilaspur, and the Border unit along Dwarka Expressway; Faridabad got one at Sector 16.

The new units are staffed with 90-100 police personnel of various ranks, bringing Gurugram's total to 14 and Faridabad's to 13.

The units aim to reduce response time, ensure quicker investigation, and strengthen local intelligence networks in areas with high crime reports.

The Sector 65 unit covers Sohna Road and Golf Course Extension Road; Bilaspur unit targets Pachgaon industrial belt; Border unit focuses on areas along Dwarka Expressway.
