Auto’s and e-rikshaws in Panchkula to get unique stickers under verification drive

Police commissioner Pankaj Nain launched a special verification drive for auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws in Panchkula.

Every verified vehicle will receive a departmental unique identification sticker with vehicle registration number, driver’s ID code, designated route, and unique sticker number.

ACP traffic Surender Singh has been appointed as nodal officer to supervise the campaign's implementation.

The sticker will be displayed on front and rear of the vehicle to enable identification by police, administration, and public.

The campaign aims to make public transport safer, more transparent, and better organised by identifying unverified or illegal vehicles.
