400+ Turbhe Slum Residents Protest Closure Of Public Toilet, Demand Immediate Reopening

Over 400 residents of Krishna Steel slum in Turbhe's MIDC area protested the prolonged closure of a public toilet.

Residents allege repeated complaints to the NMMC have gone unanswered.

Activist Balakrishna Khopde warned of escalating the agitation if the facility is not reopened within seven days.

Residents also criticised local corporators over the lack of basic civic amenities.
