Margot Robbie secretly splashes $28m on a Queensland ranch estate

Margot Robbie secretly purchased 'Redwood,' a luxury estate in Currumbin Valley, Queensland, for $28 million in an off-market sale in June.

The 2.9-hectare property includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, horse stables, a swimming pool, a full-size tennis court, and a 10-car garage.

The sale is the highest price ever paid for a residential property in Queensland.

Robbie, 36, grew up near Currumbin Valley and left the Gold Coast as a teenager to pursue acting; the purchase reconnects her with her childhood memories.

Her grandparents had a farm in the valley, and she has spoken fondly of growing up in the region.
