CWG 2026: Six medals, 10 boxing finalists and 23-medal haul for India in Glasgow
India won six medals on Day 9 of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, raising its total to 23 medals, and remains 10th in the standings.

Tejaswin Shankar became the first Indian to win a Commonwealth Games decathlon medal, taking bronze with 7,976 points; additional athletics medals came from Neeraj Chopra and Yash Vir Singh.
All 10 Indian boxers won their semi-finals and advanced to Saturday's gold medal bouts.
