Nationality doesn't matter, Egyptians are like any other opponent: Anahat

Anahat Singh became the first Indian to win the World Junior Squash Championships title, defeating Egypt's Amina Orfi in the final in Ontario, Canada.

Singh said she has grown up playing Egyptian players and treats them like any other opponent, dismissing the idea of a psychological edge.

The 17-year-old's win came after several near misses in the tournament over the past four years.

Singh will now focus on senior competitions, including PSA events and the Asian Games.

India's boys' team (Aryaveer Dewan, Gurveer Singh, Dev Sharma, Yuvraj Wadhwani) won a historic second consecutive bronze medal at the World Junior Squash Team Championships.
