Policeman rapes minor Dalit girl as colleague keeps watch in Bhopal; both arrested

Policeman Santosh Sen, attached to MP police special task force, allegedly lured a 17-year-old Dalit girl on the pretext of her daughter's birthday party and raped her in Bhopal.

His colleague Jitendra Rajput kept watch outside with his three-year-old son during the crime; both have been arrested.

Sen was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Act.

Rajput arranged a car to ferry the teenager and was charged under all acts except rape.

A Zero FIR was registered at Kamala Nagar police station before the case was transferred to Jahangirabad police station for investigation.
