Indian man's 500 Dubai job applications yield low offers

Shriram Chackolangara, 28, from Kozhikode, Kerala, applied for nearly 500 jobs in Dubai over four months.

He left his role as Internal Communications Specialist at RAKBANK in April and began job hunting.

Offers included salaries as low as a quarter of his previous pay, performance-based pay, and roles requiring 10-hour days, six days a week.

Dubai promised a better lifestyle, but the reality included low salaries and financial strain.

He initially considered leaving Dubai but later decided to continue after support from Instagram followers.
