Pak-linked BKI module busted, one held with 1.3 kg IED

Punjab Police busted an ISI-sponsored Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror module with the arrest of operative Satbir Singh from Jalandhar.

A recovered IED contained 1.3 kg of high explosives, shrapnel, and ball bearings, aimed at a high-impact attack to disturb public peace.

Satbir Singh of Padiana village in Adampur sub-division, Jalandhar, was intercepted at a checkpost in Dhandaur village while riding a Bajaj Platina motorcycle (PB-08-ET-6736).

An FIR was registered under Sections 113(1) and 113(3) of BNS, Explosives Substance Act, and Arms Act at Patara police station.

Police are investigating forward and backward linkages to dismantle the terror network, including foreign handlers and local support networks.
