Sameera reveals on being made two to three shades lighter

Sameera Reddy said she was made two to three shades lighter with full body makeup for her debut film 'Maine Dil Tujhko Diya'.

She wore padded bras, bum pads, and coloured lenses during the film.

Reddy faced body-shaming from crew members and struggled with body image and skin colour insecurities until her 40s.

She returned to Hindi cinema in 2026 after 14 years in the film 'Aakhri Sawal' alongside Sanjay Dutt.
