Sunny Deol dedicated 'Batwara 1947' to his mother Prakash Kaur and to mothers everywhere in an emotional Instagram post.

The Partition drama is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

The film releases in theatres worldwide on August 14.

The trailer launch is scheduled for July 28, the day after the dedication post.

The film's story is adapted from Syed Asghar Wajahat's play.
