Yamini Mourya wins silver medal in Women’s -57kg Judo final at CWG 2026 after tough loss to England’s Acelya Toprak

Yamini Mourya won silver in the women's -57kg judo final at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow on July 31, 2026.

She lost to England's Acelya Toprak in golden score after receiving a third shido penalty, which resulted in hansoku-make.

The 28-year-old's silver adds to India's medal tally, following two golds earlier that day by Asmita Dey and Harsh Singh.

Mourya reached the final in commanding fashion, but could not find a decisive technique in the final.
