SGPC president raps AAP MLA Sukhanand for calling Miri Piri Khalsa March a roadshow

SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami criticized AAP MLA Amritpal Singh Sukhanand for calling the Miri-Piri Khalsa March a 'roadshow'.

Sukhanand made the remarks at a function commemorating the death anniversary of Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) chief Gurjant Singh Budh Singhwala in Budh Singhwala village on July 29.

Dhami said the remarks insulted Panthic traditions and hurt Sikh religious sentiments, adding that the march upholds Akal Takht supremacy and connects youth with Sikh heritage.

The march began from Akal Takht on July 24 and will culminate at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo, on August 3.

Dhami emphasized that the march is a spiritual procession led by Panj Pyare under Guru Granth Sahib's presence, not a political roadshow.
