Embattled NTA floats ₹7.5 crore tender for round-the-clock security at HQ, regional offices

NTA floated a ₹7.5 crore tender for round-the-clock security at its headquarters on Delhi's Minto Road and regional offices in Okhla, as part of its overhaul after the NEET-UG 2026 controversy.

The security contract will be initially for two years, extendable by two one-year terms based on performance.

The selected agency must safeguard NTA personnel, visitors, assets, premises, and confidential examination material, including server rooms and strong rooms.

Bids must be submitted by August 17, 2026, with technical bids opened the same day.

NTA uses a Quality-and-Cost Based Selection model, with technical quality weighted at 70% and financial bid at 30%, to ensure quality service for its sensitive examination ecosystem.
