How Uttar Pradesh became India's biggest toll revenue machine with an Rs 8,862 crore haul in FY26

Uttar Pradesh collected Rs 8,862 crore in toll revenue in FY26, the highest among Indian states.

The state recorded the highest annual growth in toll collections at 34.8 percent.

Growth is attributed to increasing traffic on Uttar Pradesh's expanding network of access-controlled expressways and national highways.
