BCCI adopts MCC rule changes for the 2026-27 domestic season.

Final over of the day must be completed even if a wicket falls, to prevent batting sides from avoiding sending a new batter out late.

Bowlers deliberately bowling front-foot no-balls will be suspended for the rest of the match.

Declaration and forfeiture are no longer permitted in the final innings of the match.

New playing conditions address gendered language and other relevant changes from the MCC 2026 Code of Laws.
