HDFC Bank board may decide on MD Sashidhar Jagdishan's reappointment before August 5 AGM

HDFC Bank's Nomination and Remuneration Committee will meet in the coming days to discuss MD Sashidhar Jagdishan's reappointment.

The committee's recommendation will be followed by a board meeting, after which the board's recommendation will be sent to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The decision is expected before the bank's Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for August 5.
